This farm is at an altitude of 1,730 meters above sea level, cultivated mainly with two coffee varieties: Hybrid San Francisco and Bourbon.
The farm is located in the coffee region of Ilamatepec, a reason why it received plenty of volcanic ash when Santa Ana Volcano erupted in 2003; preceded by Hurricane Mitch, phenomena that helped the dissolution and the penetration of nutrients, which have enriched the soils.
Another important fact is that the farm is environmentally friendly, as it preserves the forest and wild animal life. Hunting is prohibited in the whole area, as well as logging.
Regarding trees, this farm has a great variety of them, for example: Culebros, Rosarios, Chilamates, Tatascamite, Alaice, among others.
