Don Tomás Estate Coffee Farms

Following a long tradition, we keep harvesting the best coffee for you

Loma de Paja Farm

This farm is the oldest; the other three farms are relatively new. However, there is a strategy of permanent renovation of coffee plants.
Lomo de Paja is at an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level, located in Chalchuapa, Santa Ana at the Cordón de Oro Cafetalero mountain range with Ilamantepec-origin denomination. These make up the best lands of El Salvador for growing this precious grain.

The coffee varieties grown are: Bourbon and Catimor. This farm is worked under Pepeto and Cuernavaca tree shades with the handling of pruning and re-planting.

Birds are protected, you can often see, in the afternoon, the beauty of magpies, as well as other animal species such as deer and huacalchíllas, rarely found today.
